Madison Johnson- Owner/Groomer
As soon as I realized my life long dream of being a teacher was no longer my calling, I stressed about finding a profession that I would not only be successful in, but one that I would fall in love with every day. I underwent three different majors at two different universities before stumbling upon the profession that I was meant to be apart of. There’s been endless hours of tears, prayers, research, stress, and remodeling along the journey that has made me question if I was on the right path. However, there’s also been endless hours of smiling, laughing, meeting new people, dog kisses, and falling in love with my career. It’s been a wild ride to get to where I am now, but I truly believe God has me right where I’m supposed to be. Nothing brings me more joy than being able to genuinely love on animals every day.
Kiley Kyhl- Groomer
Hello! My name is Kiley and I'm the newest groomer at Mad-Dog Tail Waggers. I graduated from DNH in 2017 then received an Animal Science degree from Iowa State in 2022. After I received my degree, I was working for Iowa Select and realized I wanted something different. I chose grooming because I liked the idea of being able to work with dogs and to become a better stylist for my own two fur-babies. Outside of the shop you can find me working in the bakery department at Hyvee or spending time with my family and my dogs. A fun fact about myself is although I can be a clumsy person, I am strangely good at ice skating and rollerblading.
